What we believe can be clearly stated in that we believe the Bible and everything therein; no adds, no substractions.

We Believe

Salvation

Salvation is God’s gift to man. Our disobedient nature has separated us from our Creator. We can never be good enough, work hard enough to earn salvation. Only by trusting in Jesus and repenting can we enter into eternal and abundant life. Matthew 1:21

The Bible

The Bible is the actual words of God to us. The Holy Spirit inspired the writers with the words our Creator wanted us to hear. The Bible is God’s love letter to all people, everywhere. It is the final authority in every issue addressed. It is the complete and absolute truth in all matters in this life and the life to come. Matthew 5:17-18

Jesus

Jesus is not a created being; he has always been and will always be. Rather than being created, he is the creator of all. Throughout Jesus’ time on earth, he was completely man and completely God. He lived a perfect, sinless life and was sacrificed on the cross to atone for all. He rose from the grave, defeated sin and death and finally ascended into Heaven and return one day to reign as King. Isaiah 7:14; 53, Matthew 1:18-23

Baptism

Baptism is a means of Grace. It is not about what we do for God but is what God does for us. Baptism does not save anyone. It is a first step of obedience after one makes the decision to receive Christ as their personal Savior. It represents the sacrifice made by the Savior and the acceptance of the believer to God’s call. Baptism is open to all ages and all people. Matthew 10_32, Mark 1:9-11

Communion

The celebration of the Lord’s Supper or Communion is a sacred time of reflection on the tremendous gift of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The practice was originated by Jesus himself at the Lord’s Supper where he advised his apostles to partake of the bread and wine in remembrance of himself. Today our remembrance consists of elements that are symbolic of the great sacrifice our Lord has made for us. Our Communion table is not a Methodist table but God’s table, and everyone is welcome at God’s table. All believers are welcome. Our church celebrates this ritual of the church on the first Sunday of the month. All believers are welcome. Matthew 26:26-30
